Stanley Wu earned the first SEC honor of his career on Tuesday, garnering SEC Swimmer of the Week, as the league announced Tuesday.

Wu recorded two first place finishes at the Auburn Invitational this past weekend, going up against three ranked teams in the process.

The Concord, Fla. native swept the breaststroke events, posting a B-cut time of 53.67 in the 100 breast and a B-cut of 1:58.07 in the 200 breast, both of which were season-best times for the junior.

Wu also finished third in the 200 IM final, recording a time of 1:48.67. He recorded a career-best time of 1:48.53 in the preliminary session of the event.

The junior rounded out his events by racing in the 100 fly, where he recorded a career-best time of 50.44 in the preliminary session.

Wu and the rest of the Gators are back in action on from Feb. 14-18 for the SEC Championships in College Station, Texas.
