University of Florida men’s swimming and diving team has climbed back into the No. 1 ranking

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida men’s swimming and diving team has climbed back into the No. 1 ranking in this week’s College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll. The Gators were previously rated No. 6 nationally.

Florida (4-3 overall, 1-1 SEC) is coming off a remarkable performance at the Buckeye Invitation that resulted in a then 15 top national times, 10 NCAA ‘A’ cuts, 25 ‘B’ cuts, and 21 US Olympic Trial-qualifying times.

Among the CSCAA Top-25 rankings, the Gators join fellow SEC members Alabama (No. 3), Missouri (No. 6), Tennessee (No. 8), South Carolina (No. 9), LSU (No. 16), Kentucky (No. 17), Auburn (No. 20), Georgia (No. 21), and Texas A&M (No. 23).
