Swimmers from around the world gathered in Miami last week to compete in the U.S. Paralympics Swimming Open.
The U.S. Paralympics Swimming Open (2016 Can-Am Open) was a long course competition and was open to swimmers with a disability from all nations who have met the qualifying standards. Team USA had several swimmers from the state of Florida competing. Mila Greening (Clearwater Aquatic Club), Michelle Konkoly (T2 Aquatics), Alexander Quesada-Amor (Hialeah Storm), and MeiMei White and Brian Douglas (Highlander Aquatics) competed in several events.
