Panama City Swim Team finishes 18th at Southeastern Championships

Panama City Swim Team made waves at the 2016 Southeastern Swimming Long Course Championships in Nashville, placing 18th out of 50 teams from throughout the Florida panhandle, Alabama and Tennessee.
Competing against more than 1,000 swimmers, the top three point scorers for PCST were Shane McEliece, who became the 2016 SES champion in the Boys 10 & Under 50m Freestyle, placed 6th in the 100m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke, and 7th in the 50m Butterfly; Connor Hodges in the Senior Boys division, who placed 6th in the 100m Butterfly, 10th in the 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle and 200m Butterfly, 11th in the 400m Freestyle, and 16th in the 50m Butterfly; and Natalie McKenzie in the 11/12 Girls division, who placed 4th in the 100m Backstroke, and 7th in both the 50m Backstroke and 100m Butterfly. Others scoring points for PCST were:
Chad McGuire – 50m Breaststroke (10th), 100m Breaststroke (7th), 200m Breaststroke (4th), 200m IM (16th); Alex Phlegar – 50m Backstroke (11th), 100m Backstroke (15th); Shane Williams – 50m Freestyle (12th).
Maddie Campbell – 50m Backstroke (13th), 100m Backstroke (14th), 200m Backstroke (14th); Kyla Hallam – 100m Breaststroke (11th), 200m Breaststroke (12th).
Sean Adams – 50m Freestyle (5th); Jared Shanks – 50m Butterfly (3rd); Luke Station – 50m Butterfly (8th).
Reagan Swindler – 800m Freestyle (8th), 1500m Freestyle (10th); Marisa Ashley – 1500m Freestyle (5th); Miranda Ward – 200m Breaststroke (7th).
Colin McEliece – 50m Breaststroke (5th), 100m Breaststroke (4th); Andre Sander – 800 m Freestyle (6th), 50m Breaststroke (8th).
