As if the Florida Gators weren’t having a great summer with names like Caeleb Dressel and Elizabeth Beisel qualifying for the FINA World Championships and competing later this week, rising sophomore Kelly Fertel is in Israel competing at the 2017 Maccabiah Games representing the United States.

Fertel has been on a mission as she has taken home four individual gold medals in the 800 Freestyle (8:57.21), 400M Free (4:18.19), 200IM (2:15.03), and a meet record winning time in the 400IM. She also earned a silver in the 200M Backstroke finishing behind USA teammate Tasija Karosas.

On top of some incredible individual swims by Fertel, she also has won gold on the 4X200 Freestyle Relay with her fellow team USA teammates. Congratulations to Kelly on all of her incredible swims this past week at the Maccabiah games. Way to hold it down for #TeamFlorida!
