  Congratulations to all of the SPA swimmers, past and present, full and part time that have trained with Coach Fred Lewis for this very special meet. You were great, and may you look upon this with found memories knowing that only a very selected few even get to experience such an event. You have help spark the imagination and dreams of many young future swimmers with you accomplishments. It was fun and exciting to cheer for each and every one of you. Go SPA!

  being an assistant is a wornfdeul thing and allows one to stay more in the trenches with the troops and lead directly. Being a head coach changes the relationship with the team dramatically. The current coaches at AZ have enjoyed their places as assistants. I would bet we see the return of Rhodenbaugh or some new blood.
